Experimental tools dedicated to the measurement of thermophysical properties
CTP's Laboratories
The CTP has 5 laboratories, among them a high safety laboratory. Thanks to this tool, the CTP can study the phase diagrams with toxic fluids such as CO, sulfur compounds, NOx, SOx, the HCl, the aromatics ... These compounds are also corrosive. Made of 10 extractor hood laboratories, this laboratory has further equipment:
a treatment system for the air of the laboratories
effluent treatment systems with active carbon filters
a network of gas (helium, hydrogen and air) supplying the various devices
various sensors (a gas leakage signage; lack of oxygen ...) connected to a central alarm station
specific detectors for certain kinds of fluids.
