Design and manufacture of equipments dedicated to the measurement of thermodynamic and thermophysical properties

The CTP has its own mechanical workshop. Besides the human resources, the material resources allocated are split between a design office (achievement of the overall and detailed plans with AutoCAD, equipment sizing according to CODAP code with the help of CodeX software package in compliance with the 97/23/EC European directive) and its machine tools.

The activity of the workshop is essentially based on three tasks that must harmoniously be part of the CTP's strategy:

– the support to the measuring activity of thermodynamic properties in the frame of research projects (maintenance but also adaptation of the laboratory devices according to possible constraints).

– the design and the manufacturing of measuring equipments for the recovery of devices having reached their technological maturity.

– innovation through the development of new research equipments for its own needs.

With its know-how and its skills in the design and the construction of devices dedicated to the measurement of thermodynamic properties, the CTP is always attentive to the needs of its partners and employees to bring them its whole expertise as for the definition of the specifications and the choice of the most relevant quantities to measure for the optimization and the improvement of the existing industrial processes and the implementation of new ones.

Thanks to its experience acquired in the achievement of many tasks in fields considered difficult, for example coupling pressure and temperature, reactivity and corrosion, the CTP can provide adapted solutions by integrating the specific constraints of each business sector. Each equipment project can be accompanied up to the on site implementation, the staff training and the technical and scientific assistance.
